Bens Barn Trenarlett Farm

Bens Barn is a one-bedroom conversion at Trenarlett Farm near St Tudy, a village on the western edge of Bodmin Moor, with St Breward as the nearest town. Its super-king bed can be separated into three-foot twins on request, so the barn works for a couple or two friends. One bathroom completes the two-person layout.

Exposed walls, wooden beams and vaulted ceilings keep the converted-barn character rather than a modern fit-out. A wood burner and an open fire are both confirmed, alongside WiFi, parking, a dishwasher, a BBQ and enclosed lawns. Solar power runs the barn, a point worth knowing for guests who care about it. There is no washing machine. Up to three dogs can stay, more than most Cornwall cottages allow.

Port Gaverne Beach is 6.2 miles away, Tregardock Beach is 6.3 miles away and Bossiney Cove is 9.1 miles from the barn, so this is an inland moorland base rather than a beach-on-foot stay. Walking and cycling routes lead straight from the farm, with Rough Tor and Brown Willy, Cornwall's two highest points, within reach by car.
