Bodillys Cottage is a two-bedroom cottage on Church Street in Newlyn, the working fishing port that merges into western Penzance. The property sits around 200 metres from the beach and within a short walk of the harbour, where beam trawlers and crabbers land catches daily.

Inside, the open-plan ground floor combines kitchen, dining area, and sitting room with a woodburning stove as the focal point. A king-size bedroom and a bunk bedroom are upstairs, served by a shower room with walk-in shower and heated towel rail. The cottage has WiFi, a dishwasher, and a washer/dryer in an external utility area.

A rear enclosed courtyard on multiple levels provides outdoor seating and storage. Parking is roadside on a first-come basis, with a public car park within 100 yards. Mousehole Beach is 1.4 miles along the coast path, and Eastern Green Beach in Penzance is 2.1 miles to the east.

Newlyn's Tolcarne Inn is 0.1 miles away, and the village has several seafood outlets selling fish landed from the harbour. The Newlyn Art Gallery continues the tradition of the 1880s artists' colony. Penzance station - with mainline rail connections and Isles of Scilly ferry services - is about a mile along the promenade.

Best for a couple or small family wanting to be steps from Newlyn harbour with an open fire for cooler evenings. Less good for anyone needing guaranteed parking - it's roadside on a first-come basis, with a public car park 100 yards away as backup.
