Boscregan

Boscregan is a single-storey cottage in Porthleven, positioned on Loe Bar Road just 300 metres from the beach. The property sits above the harbour village that has become one of Cornwall's strongest food destinations, home to Kota Restaurant and the annual Porthleven Food Festival each April.

Three bedrooms include a king-size with TV and en-suite walk-in shower, a double, and a twin room with zip-link beds that convert to a super-king on request. A second bathroom has both a bath and walk-in shower. The sitting room opens onto a balcony through glass doors and has a woodburning stove as its focal point. A separate dining room also has balcony access.

Outside, the garden includes a lawn, patio, sun loungers, and a picnic bench. A private driveway accommodates 3 to 4 cars. Porthleven Beach - a south-west-facing sandy beach with powerful surf and RNLI lifeguard cover in summer - is a short walk away. Porthcew at Rinsey Cove, a National Trust beach with clear water and mining heritage in the cliffs, is 2.7 miles along the coast path.

Porthleven's harbour has a pub within 0.2 miles of the cottage. The South West Coast Path runs through the village in both directions - east towards Loe Bar and the freshwater Loe Pool, west towards Rinsey Head and the Wheal Prosper engine houses.

Best for two families or a larger group who value two bathrooms and a separate dining room; less suited to those travelling with a dog, as pets are not accepted here.
