A luxury holiday home in Porthleven, South Cornwall, this eco home sits in an elevated position. Sleeping six guests, the three-bedroom property is built into the hill with views over the ocean. Stroll down into the town to browse its independent shops, boutiques and galleries or dine out in one of its restaurants or pubs. Amble just 150 metres down to the 3-mile-long beach, which is popular with experienced surfers. When the tide is out, stroll 1 mile along the sand to Loe Bar from the granite pier at the harbour. While you are here, enjoy a 6-mile circular walk through the Penrose Estate and around the freshwater lake.

The house is entered at ground-floor level, with minimalist decor throughout. The heart of the home is its lounge/kitchen/diner, which has underfloor heating and floor-to-ceiling glass doors that open onto the view on warm days. Settle down here in front of a film on the large, wall-mounted Smart TV, or prepare produce bought in Porthleven in the kitchen. There is also a WC at this level. Stairs lead down to the lower ground floor, where all three bedrooms are found: two king-sizes, one with en-suite shower room and the other with a door to the garden, and a twin. The family bathroom and a utility room are also here.

Step out from the house onto the large, glass-fronted balcony for a drink or meal, with views out to sea. There is also a patio to the side of the house.
