Bumble @ Stars & Embers Glamping

Bumble is a two-bedroom safari tent at the Stars & Embers Glamping site near Grampound, sleeping five across two bedrooms with one bathroom. The tent has a wood-fired hot tub and an open fire - central features for the kind of stay where the structure is part of the experience rather than just shelter.

There is no wifi. The setup suits guests who want to step away from screens for a few days, though note this is an intentional trade-off rather than an oversight. Parking is included on site, and dogs are welcome. No dishwasher or washing machine.

Grampound is a compact village on the old A390 between Truro and St Austell. The Lost Gardens of Heligan - 80 acres of restored Victorian gardens - are roughly 5 miles south. Mevagissey harbour is a similar distance east. Pentewan Beach lies 7.3 km away, with Porthpean Beach a further 600 metres beyond that. Truro is 15 minutes west by car.

Best for couples or small groups who want a countryside glamping experience with the hot tub as the evening centrepiece, and who are not bothered about beach access within walking distance. Less good for guests expecting standard holiday cottage amenities - no wifi, no dishwasher, and tent-standard insulation rather than a heated house.
