Cardew

Cardew is a detached farmhouse for six on the edge of a family-run farm near Boscastle. It sits within a National Landscape, formerly called an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Three bedrooms comprise two king-size rooms and one twin, giving adult couples more balanced sleeping arrangements than a typical bunk-room layout. Two bathrooms serve the house.

The snug has a wood burner, while a separate games room contains a pool table. Wi-Fi, a dishwasher and a washing machine are included. The large enclosed garden provides a barbecue and hot tub with an automated gazebo cover. Up to two dogs are accepted, and parking is available.

The property is having step-free access throughout. No specific bathroom adaptations are described, so guests with detailed access requirements should assess that distinction carefully. Boscastle is just over a mile away and Tintagel is about 4 miles south. Bossiney Cove Beach is 2.1 miles away, followed by Tregardock Beach at 4.5 miles. The Trevalga guide covers the nearest recorded town area.

Seventeen guest reviews rate Cardew 4.7 out of 5. **Best for:** a family or mixed group wanting two king bedrooms, step-free circulation, a hot tub, games room and secure garden for two dogs. **Less good for:** guests seeking a central village stay, a beach within walking distance, a sea view, EV charging or confirmed adapted bathroom facilities.
