Clifden is a four-bedroom cottage in New Polzeath, a clifftop village above Polzeath beach, sleeping nine across three bathrooms. Two bedrooms are doubles, one is a twin zip-link that can become a double on request, and the fourth is a twin - a layout that covers eight sleeping places rather than nine, so larger groups should confirm the missing arrangement before booking.

The large open-plan living space has bi-fold doors to an enclosed garden with a patio and barbecue. A fully equipped kitchen, heated outdoor shower, Wi-Fi, parking for two cars, dishwasher and washing machine are included. Up to two dogs are allowed, and solar panels with a ground-source heat pump keep running costs lower than an oil or gas system.

Polzeath Beach is 500 metres away down the footpath that gives New Polzeath its quieter, clifftop character. Greenaway Beach is 0.9 miles away and Daymer Bay is 1.3 miles away, both reachable along the coast path that also leads to Pentire Point and the Rumps headland.

**Best for:** Families wanting beach proximity, three bathrooms, flexible beds, outdoor space and lower-energy heating systems.

**Less good for:** Nine-person groups until the extra sleeping place is confirmed, or guests needing EV charging, sea views or step-free access.
