This ground-floor lodge is on Atlantic Bays Holiday Park, 1.9 miles from St Merryn.

Both bedrooms and the bathroom open off the living area. The kitchen there has an electric oven and hob, a microwave and a fridge, and meals can be served at the foldaway dining table or out on the patio. The lawn area alongside has furniture too. Sofas face a TV with Freeview, and there are a DVD player, DVDs, books and games. One bedroom has a double bed, and the other is a bunk room with a double below a single. The bathroom has a bath with a shower over. Central heating is electric, and bed linen, towels, fuel and power are included.

Off-road parking is provided, but each booking may bring only one vehicle and commercial vehicles are barred. Park WiFi needs a sign-in at reception and can be patchy. Children get a play zone for under twelves and a big playing field; the marquee bar has a decking area for adults. A shop and pub are 0.7 miles away, and the nearest beach is 2.9 miles.

Suits a family that wants a ground-floor layout with the park's facilities close by. It is less good for those hoping to bring a pet, as none are allowed, and smoking is not permitted.
