Cornflower Cottage is a detached two-bedroom property at Tregamere Barton, on the outskirts of St Columb Major. It sleeps four and sits within a small group of converted farm buildings that share a games room with pool table and table football. The cottage is set in open farmland about 6 miles inland from Newquay.

The ground floor is open-plan, combining the kitchen, dining area, and sitting room in one space. A cloakroom with basin and WC is off the hallway. Upstairs there is a king-size bedroom and a twin, served by a bathroom with bath and overhead shower. An external shared laundry room has two washing machines and two tumble dryers.

A private patio with table and chairs provides outdoor dining space. Mawgan Porth, a wide north coast bay with surf schools, rock pools, and a cafe, is 5.2 miles away. Watergate Bay - 2 miles of sand with reliable surf - is 5.3 miles. Both beaches are dog-friendly year-round.

St Columb Major has a 15th-century church, several pubs including the 16th-century Red Lion, and independent shops along Fore Street. A farmers' market runs on the first Saturday of each month. Padstow and the Camel Estuary are about 20 minutes by car. Off-road parking is available for two cars.

Best for a family or two couples wanting a farm-set base with a shared games room, within reach of St Columb Major's shops and pubs. Less good for beach-every-day plans - the nearest coast, Mawgan Porth, is 5.2 miles away.
