Inside, an open-plan living area with dining table and kitchen occupies the ground floor, with a double bedroom, twin bedroom, and bathroom upstairs. The layout is simple and functional, well suited to a couple or small family.

Lantic Bay, a sandy south coast cove, is the nearest beach at 1 mile. Lansallos Beach - remote and reached only on foot - sits 1.5 miles away, and Readymoney Cove at the mouth of Fowey harbour is 1.7 miles. The South West Coast Path connects all three along the clifftop.

The Hall Walk starts practically from the doorstep - a 4-mile circular route using both the Bodinnick car ferry and the Polruan passenger ferry, with views over the estuary throughout. Fowey itself, where Daphne du Maurier lived and set several novels, is reachable by ferry from Bodinnick. The harbour town has independent shops, fish restaurants including Sam's on Fore Street (open since 1987), and the Grade I-listed St Fimbarrus Church. Prices start from 537 per week.
