The passenger ferry to Fowey runs every 15 minutes in season, crossing in under 10 minutes to a town with multiple restaurants, pubs, and galleries. Lantic Bay, one of the south coast's less-visited beaches, is 1.2 miles along the coast path.

The South West Coast Path runs through the village. Up to 2 dogs welcome. Steep internal stairs mean the property is not suitable for those with limited mobility. Paid parking is available at the top of the village - the cottage itself has no private parking. Rated 4.6 across 15 reviews.
