The house is reverse-level. The two double bedrooms, the bunk room and the bathroom are on the ground floor, and the bathroom has a bath and a walk-in shower. A utility room holds a washing machine and tumble dryer. Upstairs, the kitchen/diner and a sitting room with an electric fire share the floor. There are books, games, a TV and WiFi, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent.

Outside is an enclosed garden with terrace decking, a patio and furniture, arranged over several levels. The seating areas are reached by steep steps, which makes them unsuitable for guests with limited mobility. Off-road parking is for one car.

Two well-behaved pets are welcome, and warm water is provided for a dog shower in the back garden. Smoking is not allowed.

It sleeps six, so it suits a family of up to six or friends sharing, with one of the three bedrooms a bunk room; the steep garden steps make it less good for anyone with limited mobility.
