Gargoyle Cottage

Gargoyle Cottage is a 3-bedroom cottage in St Agnes on Cornwall's north coast, sleeping 6 across 3 bedrooms with 3 bathrooms - one per bedroom. The cottage has a wood burner, dishwasher, garden, and parking. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a Lavazza coffee machine, a dishwasher and a large fridge/freezer, with seating for six. Arrival is after 4pm and departure is before 10am.

Each of the 3 bedrooms has its own bathroom, which makes the layout work for three couples or families sharing. The wood burner in the sitting room handles evenings in spring and autumn when the coast turns cold. The garden and off-road parking are included.

Trevaunance Cove is 0.6 miles downhill from the cottage - a working surf beach at the bottom of the valley with rock pools at low tide. Trevellas Cove is 0.8 miles and tends to be quieter. St Agnes village has galleries, a bakery, and the Taphouse pub with regular live music. The Wheal Coates engine house on the cliff above Chapel Porth is 1.5 miles south - one of the most-photographed buildings on the Cornish coast. St Agnes Beacon, managed by the National Trust, gives 360-degree views from the top and is a 20-minute walk from the village.

Best for groups of six who want coast path access, surf nearby, and a proper base with individual bathrooms.
