Goatsland

Goatsland is a six-bedroom house in Trebetherick that sleeps 12 guests, set on the quiet lane between Polzeath and Daymer Bay. The property has 5 bathrooms, an open fire, and an enclosed garden with space for children and dogs.

The house is arranged over multiple floors. Four of the six bedrooms have balconies - three with en-suite walk-in showers and one with both a bath and walk-in shower. Two ground-floor rooms include a double and a family room with a child's bunk and day bed. The main living space is open-plan with a kitchen, dining area, and sitting area around a woodburning stove. A separate sitting room provides a second communal space.

Outside, the enclosed garden has a patio, lawn, furniture, and an outdoor shower. Off-road parking accommodates up to 5 cars. Two dogs are welcome, though they are not permitted upstairs or on the sofas.

Daymer Bay Beach is 700 metres south - a sheltered estuary beach at the mouth of the Camel with calm, shallow water. Greenaway Beach, a quiet sandy cove with rock pools, is 900 metres away. The hamlet has no shops of its own, but Polzeath village with its surf schools, cafes, and Co-op is about a mile north. Rock and the Padstow water taxi are roughly 1.5 miles south along the coast.

Best for large groups of up to 12 with two dogs, given the six bedrooms and enclosed garden; less good for those wanting to walk to shops, as the hamlet has none of its own and Polzeath is about a mile away.
