Tintagel Castle, on its headland above the sea, is about a mile south. The village of Tintagel has pubs, cafes, and a post office. Rocky Valley, a narrow wooded gorge with a stream and Bronze Age carvings in the rock, begins less than a mile to the south and takes about an hour to walk through. The coastal views from this stretch are consistently clear across to Lundy Island on calm days.

Ideal for a couple or two adults wanting a quiet, dog-friendly base for coast path walking within easy reach of the Tintagel heritage sites. Not great for families needing multiple bedrooms or for guests looking for a warm-water beach - this part of north Cornwall is exposed and the sea is cold. The sea view and garden are the main draws outside the walking access.
