Inside, the open-plan living space has a large corner sofa and a TV, a kitchen with an electric oven and hob, a microwave and a fridge, and a table for four. One bedroom is a double. The other is a triple bunk room with a single above a double. The only bathroom is a shower room with a walk-in shower, so there is no bath. Heating is electric central heating, and fuel and power are included.
Bring your own bed linen and towels. Out front is a non-enclosed garden with gravel and furniture, and off-road parking is available. WiFi is on site rather than at the cottage, so ask Main Reception for the access code. The site has a shop and pub, and both are 0.7 miles away. In the July and August school holidays, stays must be at least seven nights.
The bunk room suits children or a couple, so the cottage is ideal for a family of five or two adults sharing. It is less good for anyone with a pet, as no pets are allowed, and smoking is not permitted.
