All three require a short drive from the lodge; there is no footpath route from the site.

Padstow is about 3.7 miles north-east - accessible by car or by bike along the Camel Trail if you are willing to join it at Wadebridge, about 6.2 miles south. Restaurants, the weekly market, and the ferry to Rock are all based in Padstow.

This works well for couples travelling with children who want a practical base within range of multiple north Cornish beaches and a manageable drive to Padstow. Not ideal for guests without a car, those needing a dishwasher, or anyone wanting to walk to the beach from the door. Saturday changeover.
