Hunnypot Lodge

Hunnypot Lodge is a one-bedroom lodge in St Breock, a village in the wooded Nansent valley a mile west of Wadebridge, sleeping two in a king-size bed. Both a wood burner and an open fire are unusual to find together in a lodge this size.

One bathroom serves the compact lodge, and a washing machine and EV charging point support a longer stay. There is no dishwasher or barbecue, and dogs are not accepted. A private balcony overlooking the countryside is the only outdoor space, useful for sitting out without a full garden to maintain.

St Breock's 13th-century parish church and the prehistoric St Breock Downs Monolith, a standing stone roughly 16 feet tall, sit within the parish. Wadebridge, with its Camel Trail cycle path, is a short drive away, and the north coast beaches at Polzeath, Rock and Harlyn Bay are all within about 15 minutes by car. Daymer Bay Beach is 7.6 miles from the lodge, with Greenaway Beach and Trevone Bay both 8 miles further along the coast.

**Best for:** a couple wanting a rural lodge with two fire sources, a private balcony and EV charging.

**Less good for:** guests wanting a beach within walking distance, dog owners, or anyone needing a dishwasher or confirmed accessible facilities.
