Hydrangea Cottage

Hydrangea Cottage is a stone-built house in the hamlet of Tregrehan Mills, 1.9 miles from St Austell. The layout is reversed: both bedrooms are on the ground floor and the living space is upstairs, so guests climb stairs to reach the kitchen and sitting area.

The two bedrooms, a super-king-size and a king-size, are both zip/link beds that can be set up as twins on request. They share a ground-floor bathroom with a bath, shower over, basin and WC. It sleeps four.

The first-floor room holds the kitchen, a dining area for four and the sitting area, with views over the garden. The kitchen has an oven, hob, microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster, and there is a Smart TV and WiFi. Central heating, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all part of the rent.

The garden is enclosed and has furniture, and parking is off-road for one car. The Britannia Inn is 0.5 miles away and the beach 1.5 miles. Check-in runs from 3pm to 10pm, with no later arrivals. Pets and smoking are not allowed, and the cottage is not suitable for children under five. It suits a couple or two friends, and is less good for families with young children or anyone travelling with a dog.
