Jaspers Retreat, Pendra Loweth

Jaspers Retreat is a terrace house at Pendra Loweth, a holiday village on the outskirts of Falmouth, and two well-behaved dogs are welcome. Maenporth and Swanpool beaches are about a mile away. A rear garden has a patio, lawn, furniture and a barbecue, bordered by the village's shared gardens.

The ground floor is an open-plan room with the kitchen, dining area and sitting area, plus a cloakroom. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and dishwasher, and there is a Smart TV. Upstairs are a super-king-size bedroom and a twin, with a shower room that has a walk-in shower and heated towel rail. It sleeps four, and bed linen, towels, fuel and power come with the rent.

Guests can use the village's small splash pool, Jacuzzi, tennis court, gym and children's indoor and outdoor play areas, plus a cafe and bar and a laundromat. All facilities have seasonal opening times, and the splash pool takes four people at a time. Parking is off-road for one car, with visitor parking close by. Car charging points are outside the office, but charging directly from the property is prohibited. Smoking is not allowed, sign-written vans and commercial vehicles are not permitted on the site, and bookings for work or business use are not accepted.

Beach and shop are 1 mile away, the pub 2.3 miles. It suits a family with one or two dogs, and is less good for a party of more than four, as it sleeps four.
