Kastel

Kastel stands in Tregolds, near St Merryn, on a holiday park where the shop and pub are 0.7 miles away. St Merryn is 1.9 miles from the lodge. It is a single-storey home with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, and there are steps up to the property.

The double bedroom has its own en-suite with a walk-in shower, basin and WC, there is a twin, and the third room has a bunk bed. The main bathroom has a bath with a shower over. In the open-plan living space, the kitchen has an oven, a gas hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer and a washing machine. The dining table seats four, and the sitting area has a TV and a fire. Central heating is fitted, and bed linen, towels, fuel and power are included in the rent.

Furnished decking at the front is not enclosed. Private off-road parking is provided. WiFi is supplied through the site rather than the lodge. On site you will find a bar and restaurant, a shop, a play area, kids' activities and live entertainment. Nearby days out include Camel Creek Family Adventure Park, the National Trust coast at Carnewas at Bedruthan, and Padstow, with its National Lobster Hatchery and the Camel Trail. Stays are three nights at the shortest, and seven nights in the July and August school holidays.

Best for a family of six or friends sharing, with the en-suite as a separate double. The steps up to the property make it less good for anyone who cannot manage steps, and pets and smoking are not allowed.
