Lamorra 31 is a contemporary cottage within the 450-acre St Mellion Estate in south Cornwall, sleeping 4 in 2 bedrooms - a super-king zip-link (convertible to twins on request) with en-suite bathroom, and a bunk room. The open-plan lounge and kitchen are bright and well-equipped with Smart TVs throughout, a dishwasher, washing machine, and patio doors to a private terrace with BBQ. The cottage is dog-friendly with 1 dog permitted on site.

Guests have complimentary access to the estate health club, which includes an Elemis spa, gym, and indoor swimming pool. The estate also has two championship golf courses - the Nick Faldo-designed Old Course and the International Course - available to book separately. A resort restaurant is on site for those who want to eat without leaving the grounds.

The estate is positioned inland in south Cornwall near the Tamar Valley. Downderry Beach on the south coast is 8.6 miles and Whitsand Bay is 8.9 miles. Plymouth city centre is 12 miles east via the Tamar Bridge, giving access to ferries, the Barbican, and the Theatre Royal. Cotehele, a National Trust medieval manor house and mill, is 3.5 miles from the estate and worth a half-day visit.

Best for couples or families who want resort-level facilities - spa, golf, pool - combined with a self-catering cottage rather than a hotel room. Suits golfers particularly well, with 36 holes on site. Not great for those who want a coastal holiday base or evening walking distance to restaurants outside the estate.
