Linden 44

Linden 44 is a two-bedroom cottage for four within St Mellion International Resort's 450-acre golf and leisure estate in east Cornwall. Both bedrooms have super-king-size zip-and-link beds that convert to twins on request, and each has its own en-suite bathroom.

A private garden and patio give outside space, with a barbecue and parking for two cars. Wi-Fi, a dishwasher and washing machine are included, and one dog is accepted. Guests can use the resort's three swimming pools, spa, sauna, fitness suite and two golf courses - the Nicklaus course, redesigned by Jack Nicklaus in 1988, and the Kernow course - plus the estate's on-site restaurant. There is no hot tub, sea view or EV charging point at the cottage.

Callington, about 3 miles northwest, has the nearest everyday shops, and Kit Hill, with its old mining chimney stack and views across Devon and Cornwall, is roughly 3 miles west. Plymouth is about 12 miles southeast, putting the cottage closer to the Tamar Valley than to Cornwall's coast.

The sea is a longer drive: Downderry Beach is 8.6 miles away, Whitsand Bay, 4 miles of surf sand on the Rame Peninsula, is 8.9 miles, and Kingsand Beach is 10.1 miles.
