Readymoney Cove is 0.9 miles south down the valley: a compact sandy beach backed by Readymoney Wood, with a seasonal café on the foreshore. Lantic Bay, a National Trust cove with more exposure and steeper access, is 1.5 miles further. Fowey town centre - restaurants, galleries, and the working harbour - is under 10 minutes on foot.
