Vugga Cove is closer still at around half a mile. Newquay town centre, with the harbour, cinema and zoo, is under 10 minutes by car.

Dogs are accepted in selected room types at £25 per dog per night, capped at two, so confirm the room category directly rather than assuming.

Best for couples who want a sea-view room, a restaurant on site and beach access on foot without staying in the middle of Newquay. Less good for families needing self-catering space, or for anyone wanting a quiet rural base - this is a busy headland hotel with a restaurant open to non-residents, and the cliff-top position means exposed weather through winter.
