Lodge 18

The hot tub is what sets Lodge 18 apart: it sits in an enclosed garden that also has a patio, decking and a picnic bench. The lodge is on a holiday park near St Merryn, where Padstow is 2 miles away, Newquay 11 miles and Wadebridge 10.5 miles. It sleeps seven, and there is a free on-site car park. The park owner provides the lodge, so additional park terms apply to a booking.

The bedrooms are a king-size, a double and a bunk room holding a double and a single bed, and every one has a TV. The bathroom has a bath with a shower over and a heated towel rail, and a separate shower room adds a walk-in shower, so seven people are not queuing for one bathroom.

Kitchen, dining and sitting areas share one open-plan room, and the dining area seats seven. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a dishwasher and a coffee maker. A utility room holds a washer/dryer and a second fridge/freezer. There are four TVs and WiFi, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included.

In July and August only seven-night stays are accepted. Pets are not allowed and the lodge is no-smoking. The nearest pub is 0.7 miles away and the shop is 1.8 miles. It suits a family or friends who want a hot tub and a TV in every bedroom; it is not a fit for anyone bringing a dog.
