Lodge 9, Lamorna

Lodge 9 - Lamorna is a single-storey holiday home on a holiday park at Tregolds, rural ground near St Merryn. It is not in the village itself: St Merryn is 1.8 miles away, and Padstow is about 2 miles from there. Because it sits on a park run by the park owner, additional park terms apply to a booking.

Inside, one open-plan room holds the kitchen, dining area and sitting area. The kitchen has a gas oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer and a dishwasher, and there are two TVs and WiFi. Central heating is provided, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent.

Three bedrooms sleep six. The double has its own TV and an en-suite with a walk-in shower, basin and WC. Next to it are a single room and a family room with a single bed and a bunk bed. The family bathroom has a bath with a shower over, so there are two bathrooms in all.

Out front is private decking with furniture, and parking is off-road. There are steps up to the lodge, so take care on arrival. In July and August only seven-night stays are accepted. Pets are not allowed and neither is smoking. The pub is 0.6 miles away and the shop 1.8 miles. The lodge suits a family or a group of friends who want one floor and their own decking, and it is not the right choice for anyone travelling with a dog.
