Lodge Two

Lodge Two is a detached, three-bedroom lodge at the Aviary development near Brighton Cross, between Summercourt and Grampound Road. One of three single-storey lodges on the site, it sleeps six across two doubles and a twin, all on one level with step-free access.

The open-plan kitchen, dining, and sitting room is the social hub of the cottage. One double has an en-suite shower room. The remaining two bedrooms share a second shower room. Kitchen kit includes an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, and washing machine - practical for longer stays. Wi-Fi is included.

A decked terrace with picnic bench opens onto a lawned garden, and there is generous off-road parking. The nearest shop and pub are 1.7 miles away at Grampound Road. Tolcarne Beach (7.2 miles) is a broad, lifeguarded crescent in Newquay that links to Great Western Beach at low tide. Heading east from the A30, Perranporth and its three miles of sand are about 25 minutes away.

Best for groups of six wanting a practical, mid-Cornwall base to explore both the north and south coasts without committing to a single resort. Less good for those without a car - the site is rural and the nearest facilities require a short drive.
