Morton Cottage

Cottage at the end of a terrace in the Village of Gardens holiday complex at Pendra Loweth, a short drive from Falmouth. Sleeps four across two bedrooms and one bathroom, both bedrooms upstairs, with the twin room suited to children or adults.

The ground floor holds a fitted kitchen and an open-plan dining and lounge area, with doors onto a west-facing patio set up with an outdoor table and chairs, overlooking the shared lawn beyond. WiFi, parking, a dishwasher, hot tub, EV charging and BBQ facilities are all included, though there is no washing machine in the cottage itself. The park has a plunge pool, children's play area and tennis courts on site, all seasonal, and the owners leave games, books and films for guests to use.

The path behind the cottage leads down to Maenporth Beach, about 0.9 miles away, and Swanpool Beach sits a similar distance, both sheltered and popular for family swimming. Falmouth itself, with the National Maritime Museum and Pendennis Castle, is a short drive further on.

Best for families with young children who want a self-catering base with a play area and pool close by. Less good for anyone needing an in-cottage washing machine or wanting a beach within walking distance rather than a drive.
