North Lodge Tregeare

North Lodge Tregeare is a detached stone cottage for three in the parish of Egloskerry, five miles from Launceston in quiet east Cornwall farmland. A double bedroom and a single give a small family or three friends separate sleeping space, served by one bathroom.

Inside, a wood burner and an open fire both work off the property's original features, so there's a choice of fireside on cooler evenings. WiFi, parking, a dishwasher and washing machine are all included, and dogs are welcome. Host Anna manages the booking. There is no hot tub, pool or EV charging point, and the cottage has no sea view.

Outside, two separate garden spaces give room to spread out, with a barbecue set up between them. Egloskerry itself sees fewer visitors than the coast, but the north shore is close: Crackington Haven is 8.9 miles away, Millook Beach 9.1 miles and Widemouth Bay 9.9 miles. Tintagel Castle, Boscastle and Pentargon Waterfall are all within 15 miles, and Bodmin Moor's Rough Tor and Brown Willy sit a similar distance to the south-west. Bude and Widemouth Bay are roughly 25 minutes by car.
