Owlets

Owlets is a single-storey barn conversion in St Ervan, a rural hamlet three miles southwest of Padstow, sleeping two in one super king-size bedroom. One bathroom serves the barn, and the bedroom and bathroom are both downstairs. Guests who need step-free access should check the entrance and route from parking with the owner before booking.

A wood burner, WiFi, parking, a dishwasher, a washer/dryer and a garden with barbecue are included. Dogs are not accepted. The Camel Trail and the north Cornwall coast path are within reach for day trips, and Padstow's harbour and restaurants are about 15 minutes away by car.

Mawgan Porth is 3.5 miles away, a lifeguarded surf beach with rock pools exposed at low tide and cafes on the sand. Bedruthan Steps Beach is 3.7 miles from the barn and Porthcothan Bay 3.9 miles. Newquay, Port Isaac, Boscastle and Tintagel are all named as driving trips from the hamlet, while Constantine Bay, Harlyn Bay and Trevone are closer options to the northwest.

**Best for:** Two guests wanting a super king-size bed, wood burner, garden, parking and a rural St Ervan base within reach of Padstow.

**Less good for:** Guests wanting to bring a dog, or who need step-free access and would want to check with the owner before booking.
