The house is in a residential area within easy reach of the village shops and the railway station.

Carbis Bay is connected to St Ives by the scenic branch railway - one stop and a few minutes by train, or a mile along the coast path. St Ives town centre has the Tate gallery, multiple fish restaurants, and four distinct beaches. Porthminster Beach is 2.2km, and Porthkidney Beach is 1.9km along the estuary edge. The branch line also connects to the mainline at St Erth.

Best for families or small groups who want a practical, well-located base with direct beach access and the option to park and leave the car. Less good for those after a rural setting or extra luxuries - this is suburban Cornwall with all that implies.
