Perran Pearl B is a ground-floor studio apartment on Grannys Lane in Perranporth, sleeping 2 with one bathroom. Unlike the first-floor Pearl A next door, this unit has level entry from the street and its own private enclosed patio - separate from the shared garden. A sofa bed provides the sleeping arrangement, making this the more flexible of the two Pearl units for couples who don't need a dedicated bedroom.

The open-plan studio layout suits a couple travelling light. Wi-Fi and off-street parking are included. No dishwasher or washing machine. No dogs. The Perranporth Co-op, cafes, and surf hire shops are a five-minute walk. Friday changeover.

Perranporth Beach is 900m - three miles of Atlantic-facing sand with year-round surf, RNLI lifeguard cover from May, and the Watering Hole bar set into the dunes. Chapel Porth National Trust beach is 2 miles north along the coast path, small and backed by the remains of Charlotte United mine. Trevaunance Cove in St Agnes is 2.5 miles, sheltered and sandy, with the Driftwood Spars pub a short walk from the car park.

Best for: couples after ground-floor access and a private outdoor space on a budget. Rated 4 by 19 guests. Less good for: guests needing laundry facilities, step-free beach access to Perranporth (the dunes involve a short slope), or more than two people.
