Puffin Cottage is a 3-bedroom cottage in Rock, sleeping 6 across 3 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms. The open fire in the living room is the centrepiece for winter stays; the garden and BBQ come into their own in summer. Dogs are welcome, and changeover day is Friday.

Daymer Bay Beach is 2.2km on foot - a wide, sheltered sandy beach inside the Camel Estuary mouth. Greenaway Beach is 2.6km, and Polzeath's surf beach 3km. The water taxi to Padstow runs from Rock in season, putting the town's restaurants and harbour across the estuary without a long drive. St Enodoc Golf Club, with its famous 18-hole links course, is close by.

Rock village has restaurants, a sailing club, and the amenities of a well-established holiday destination. No on-site parking - the cottage relies on street parking or nearby public car parks. Wifi, dishwasher, and washing machine are included.

Suits families or groups of up to 6 who want Camel Estuary access, beach walks, and an evening open fire. Not great for guests who rely on a guaranteed parking space.

The cottage has 3 bedrooms sleeping 6, with 2 bathrooms - a practical ratio for a larger group. Changeover is on Fridays. Priced per week rather than per night. Amenities include wi-fi, dishwasher, washing machine, BBQ, and an open fire - no on-site parking. Rock village itself has a sailing club, tennis courts, and several restaurants, so there is enough within the village to occupy a group for an evening without needing to drive. Polzeath at 3km has surfboard hire and lessons in season if the group wants more active water time.
