Tropical Pressure Festival is taking a planned fallow year in 2027. The organiser announced the break on its own social channels after the 2026 festival, describing it as a chance to rest the Eco Park site rather than a goodbye, so the next edition is expected in 2028 with dates to follow from the organiser.
The 2026 festival ran from Friday 10 to Sunday 12 July at Porthtowan Eco Park. The line-up spanned African, Latin American, Caribbean and other music traditions, with performers listed by day on the festival’s official pages.
The festival site is a grassy coastal farm above Porthtowan. In 2026, weekend tickets included a tent pitch in the main camping field, while campervan, family-camping and parking options required their own booking arrangements. Day tickets did not include camping.
Visitor information
Dates: No festival in 2027. Past editions have run in mid-July, and the organiser will announce the 2028 dates on its own channels.
Venue: Porthtowan Eco Park, near Porthtowan on Cornwall’s north coast.
Admission: Ticketed in past editions, with separate day, weekend, age-group, camping and vehicle options at a range of prices.
Travel: The organiser ran a free shuttle bus between Redruth railway station, Porthtowan and the festival site in 2026, roughly every 30 minutes on Friday and mornings over the weekend. Parking is not included with a festival ticket and needs its own pass.
