Pyworthy Cottage

Pyworthy Cottage is a single-storey, 2-bedroom cottage in the grounds of North Tamerton's old rectory, in north-east Cornwall near the Devon border. It sleeps 4, with an open-plan layout and a super-king-size main bedroom.

The wood burner is the centrepiece for off-season stays. A garden with outdoor seating and a BBQ extends the living space in warmer months. Up to 3 dogs are welcome - a practical point for households with multiple dogs, which is less common in the local rental market. Parking, wifi, dishwasher, and washing machine are all included.

Widemouth Bay is 7.7 miles - a wide sandy beach popular with surfers on the Atlantic coast near Bude. Millook Beach is 8.2 miles, and Summerleaze Beach in Bude 9.1 miles. The surrounding north Cornwall and north Devon borderland offers walking country away from the main tourist routes.

Right for groups wanting a rural base with proper dog facilities and year-round comfort. Less suited to those wanting easy, walkable beach access - this is a driving destination.

The single-storey layout makes movement between rooms straightforward and the open-plan arrangement suits couples or small families.
