Reddivallen is a 17th-century barn conversion near Boscastle on Cornwall’s north coast, sleeping 7 across 4 en-suite bedrooms on a 420-acre farm. Set within the North Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, it sits just over a mile from Boscastle harbour - accessible on foot along quiet lanes.

Inside, the four bedrooms are configured as 2 king-size, 1 double, and 1 single, each with its own en-suite. The lounge has exposed ceiling beams and a wood burner, with the dining table seating up to 8. The kitchen is fitted with a range-style electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, washing machine, and dryer. Accessible guests are catered for at ground-floor level. The property has no Wi-Fi, which suits those after a proper digital detox.

Outside, a patio overlooks the farmland, and the separate annexe houses a hot tub with open countryside views. A BBQ is available for warmer evenings. Bossiney Cove Beach - a low-tide-only sandy cove below Elephant Rock near Tintagel - is 2.1 miles away. Tintagel Castle, the Arthurian clifftop ruin maintained by English Heritage, is a short drive north. Boscastle village has the Museum of Witchcraft (the largest collection of its kind in the world), the Cobweb Inn, and the Riverside Restaurant for evening meals.

Best for: groups of up to 7 wanting countryside seclusion with hot tub access, walking the South West Coast Path, or exploring Arthurian north Cornwall. Less good for: those needing Wi-Fi or sea views, or visitors who want a beach on the doorstep.
