Riverside Barn

Riverside Barn is a detached stone barn conversion in the village of Stithians, near Gwennap, with the River Kennall 0.1 miles away. The shop and pub are both 0.6 miles from the door. Flagstone floors run through the kitchen, and the living and dining room has vaulted ceilings, exposed beams and a woodburning stove set in a granite hearth, with fuel and a starter pack included in the rent.

A spiral staircase climbs to a first-floor snug. On the ground floor are a double, a twin and a bathroom with a bath and walk-in shower; upstairs the king-size bedroom has an en-suite with a bath, shower over and heated towel rail. The barn sleeps six. Gas central heating and underfloor heating are fitted, and the kitchen has a washing machine, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. A highchair is available.

There is one allocated off-road space in front of the garage, with more parking on the road. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome, and there is no smoking. Saturday and Sunday changeovers are not available, and a booking with a weekend arrival or departure date may be cancelled, so choose a weekday changeover.

The layout suits families and friends who want two bedrooms and a bathroom on the ground floor, and it is ideal for a group travelling with dogs. It is less good for a group that needs a weekend changeover.
