Riverside Cottage, Camelford

Riverside Cottage is a single-storey cottage in Camelford, with everything on one level. It has two bedrooms, one with a king-size bed and one with a double, and a single bathroom, so it sleeps four. A fold-up bed can be provided for a child or an occasional extra guest, and a cot and highchair are available on request.

The kitchen, dining area and sitting area share one open-plan room. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and coffee maker, and there is a TV and WiFi. Electric central heating is included, along with fuel and power, bed linen and towels. Check-in is at 4pm and check-out at 10am.

Outside, the gardens have patio furniture, and guests can use the tennis courts. The driveway takes two cars. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome; a per-pet donation is collected at the property in a charity box. Smoking is not allowed.

Distances are worth noting before booking: the nearest shop is 3.5 miles away and the pub 2.2 miles. The surfing beaches at Trebarwith, Bossiney and Tregardock are within reach for the day, and Padstow, Newquay and Wadebridge, for the Camel Trail, make longer outings.

The cottage suits a family with one or two children, or two couples, and owners travelling with a pair of dogs.
