Rose is a 1-bedroom studio at Harris Mill Farm near Illogan, sleeping 2 adults, with a private garden and off-road parking. The farm setting is quiet and rural, with the working countryside of west Cornwall around it. Wifi is included.

Portreath Beach is 3.6km north - a sandy cove flanked by headlands with a 19th-century harbour wall and a natural blowhole on the cliffs. It's a managed surf beach with a seasonal lifeguard presence. Between the cottage and the coast lies Tehidy Country Park, 250 acres of mixed woodland maintained by Cornwall Council with marked walking and cycling trails.

The village of Portreath itself has a pub, a shop, and a fish-and-chip takeaway. Redruth is under 5km east for supermarkets and the train line. St Agnes, with its cluster of independent shops and Trevaunance Cove, is about 9km northeast along the B3277.

Adults only. No pets. Priced per week, with Friday changeover. This is a compact unit suited to a couple looking for a quiet rural base rather than a coastal cottage. The studio layout means there is no separation between the sleeping and living space. Best for two adults who spend most of their time out walking or at the beach and return to a simple, comfortable base. Not right for anyone expecting a full kitchen setup or multiple rooms. The proximity to Tehidy, the Mineral Tramways trails, and the coast path makes it well-placed for active visitors covering the mid-Cornwall coast.
