Sandpiper is a two-bedroom holiday chalet on the Perran Sands holiday park near Perranporth, sleeping four with one bathroom. The park is positioned 1.4km from Perranporth beach - a 3-mile north-facing stretch of sand with RNLI lifeguards in season and a dedicated surf school operating from the beach car park. The chalet sits at position 70 on the park, which has around 700 units across chalets and pitches.

The chalet includes two bedrooms, a private garden area, parking, and WiFi. Dogs are welcome at no extra charge. Note that the dishwasher and washing machine are not included in this unit - laundry facilities are available in the shared block on the park. On-park amenities included for guests cover a heated outdoor pool, climbing wall, restaurant, and a surf school with board and wetsuit hire from around £30 per session.

Holywell Bay is 3.7km south - a quieter option with sand dunes and a tidal cave accessible at low water. Polly Joke is 4.8km, a small National Trust cove with no car park, which keeps crowds lower than the main beaches. The Watering Hole pub sits directly on Perranporth beach and is one of the few licensed bars in England built on the foreshore.

Best for families with children who want a park setting with onsite activities alongside easy beach access - the combination of pool, surf school, and a dog-friendly policy is hard to match at this price point in north Cornwall. Less suited to guests expecting a self-contained private retreat or somewhere quiet after 9pm - the park environment means shared facilities and proximity to other holidaymakers throughout the season.
