The causeway to St Michael's Mount runs at low tide, typically accessible for a few hours either side; a small passenger ferry runs at high water from the beach. Penzance is 3 miles east by road, with the main supermarkets, independent shops, and rail connections to London Paddington. Eastern Green Beach is 1.3 miles west, a quieter stretch that catches the afternoon wind and works well for windsurfers.

Best for: couples after a quiet Marazion base with Mount views and short walks to the beach. Guests who need step-free access should check with the owner before booking. Less good for: dog owners, those needing a dishwasher, or anyone wanting a full self-catering setup.
