Seaflower

Seaflower is a one-bedroom glamping pod for two on farmland near Stibb, a hamlet about 2 miles south of Bude. The king-size bed and underfloor heating are the main comforts inside a pod built for short stays rather than a full self-catering week.

One bathroom serves the pod, and there is no Wi-Fi, dishwasher or washing machine. Outside, the deck has oversized beanbags and a barbecue for cooking and eating in the open air. Parking is included for one car, and the wider farm site has a shell studio and a children's play park that guests can use. Dogs are not accepted, so this pod suits a couple travelling without a pet.

Summerleaze Beach, home to Bude's tidal sea pool, is 1.4 miles from the farm. Crooklets Beach, the town's main surf beach, is 1.7 miles away, and Widemouth Bay is 2.2 miles. Bude's shops, cafes and surf hire are about 1.5 miles from the farm, and the Stibb guide covers the quiet lanes and canal walks around the hamlet.

**Best for:** a couple wanting a heated pod, private deck and barbecue within reach of three Bude beaches. **Less good for:** groups needing more than one bedroom, guests travelling with a dog, or anyone who needs Wi-Fi, a dishwasher, washing machine or step-free access.
