Seaholly

Seaholly is a one-bedroom pod on a working farm near Stibb, a hamlet about 2 miles south of Bude, sleeping 2 in a king-size bed with one bathroom. Solar panels and LED lighting power the pod, and underfloor heating keeps the compact interior warm outside summer.

The pod has its own private garden and barbecue, giving couples an outdoor space beyond the pod itself. Wi-Fi, a dishwasher and washing machine are not available. Dogs are not accepted. Guests can also use a shared barbecue house and a children's play area elsewhere on the farm.

Summerleaze Beach, with Bude's tidal sea pool, is 1.4 miles away. Crooklets Beach is 1.7 miles and Widemouth Bay 2.2 miles. Bude's shops, cafes and surf hire are about 1.5 miles from the farm. The Bude Canal, a flat walking and cycling route built in the 1820s, passes close to Stibb, and the Stibb guide covers the hamlet in more detail.

**Best for:** two guests wanting a private garden, solar-powered pod and easy access to Bude's beaches, including couples who value having their own outdoor space rather than a shared arrangement. **Less good for:** guests travelling with a dog, anyone relying on Wi-Fi, a dishwasher or washing machine, or those needing step-free access for the compact pod.
