Searay

Searay is a one-bedroom glamping pod on farmland near Stibb, sleeping 2 in a king-size bed with one bathroom. A private wood-fired hot tub is the standout feature of this compact pod.

A barbecue deck and the wood-fired hot tub provide the main outdoor features, and guests can also use a shared barbecue house elsewhere on site. Parking is included. Dogs are not accepted. This makes it a good match for a couple prioritising the hot tub over a fully equipped kitchen. The pod has underfloor heating and a kitchenette for light meals and drinks. A private external wet room has a heated shower, WC and hand basin.

Summerleaze Beach, with Bude's tidal sea pool, is 1.4 miles away. Crooklets Beach, the town's main surf beach, is 1.7 miles away, and Widemouth Bay, with more than two miles of sand and surf for all abilities, is 2.2 miles from the pod. **Best for:** a couple wanting a private wood-fired hot tub and a compact rural base for Bude's beaches. **Less good for:** guests travelling with a dog, or anyone relying on kitchen appliances.
