Seashells

Seashells is a 1-bedroom cottage on Atlantic Highway near Bude, set within the grounds of Atlantic Farm and sleeping 2. The open-plan interior combines kitchen, dining, and sitting areas in a single space, with a king-size bed in the bedroom and 1 bathroom. One dog is welcome.

Outside, a decking area with a wood-fired barbecue catches the afternoon light. The surrounding farm grounds include a track along which guests can walk dogs without leaving the property - useful on wet days or for a quick morning loop. Garden space and enclosed grounds offer some privacy. Wi-Fi, parking, a dishwasher, and a washing machine are included.

Summerleaze Beach at Bude is 2.2km away - a wide, family-friendly beach with a tidal seawater pool set into the cliff. Crooklets Beach, which has surf hire and a lifeguard presence in summer, is 2.8km. Widemouth Bay, a broad south-facing stretch used by surfers and families, is 3.6km south. The town centre has shops, cafes, and a good range of restaurants.

Best for couples who want a quiet rural base with easy beach access and room for a dog. The single bedroom and compact footprint are not suited to families or groups of more than 2. Bude town has a supermarket, weekly market, and the Bude Canal for flat-water walks. Atlantic Highway connects to Boscastle and Tintagel if exploring north Cornwall by car. Friday changeover.
