Perranporth Beach is around 500 metres away on foot - one of Cornwall's longest stretches of sand at approximately 3 miles, facing west into the Atlantic. The beach has RNLI lifeguard cover in season, consistent surf, and the Watering Hole bar and cafe built directly on the sand. The Watering Hole is one of only two beach bars in Britain accessible at high tide - it sits just above the waterline and hosts live music events in summer.

Chapel Porth, 4km north along the coast path, is a National Trust beach with an ice cream hut and the dramatic cliff-face ruins of Wheal Coates tin mine above it. St Agnes Heritage Coast stretches further north, with several other cove beaches accessible on foot from the path.

Trevellas Cove is 3.6km and Trevaunance Cove 4.1km - both worth the drive for calmer conditions when swells hit Perranporth.
