Stormgazer

Stormgazer is a three-bedroom cottage in Porthleven for six guests, with beach and harbour views from a sunroom balcony. Two king-size rooms and one double share a single bathroom, so every guest has a double bed but the group has limited bathroom capacity for six adults.

The sunroom has a skylight and opens onto the balcony above the beach, while the kitchen and dining area sit open-plan in a conservatory extension - a second indoor space away from the main living room. Wi-Fi, parking, a dishwasher, washing machine, garden and BBQ are included, and up to two dogs can stay.

Porthleven Beach is 100 metres away, with cafes, restaurants and Kota - chef Jude Kereama's Rick Stein-trained kitchen - lining the harbour beyond. Porthcew Rinsey Cove is 2.5 miles from the cottage and Gunwalloe Church Cove Beach 3.5 miles. The coast path leads east to Loe Bar, the shingle barrier separating the freshwater Loe Pool from the sea, and west past the old Wheal Prosper engine houses at Rinsey Head.

**Best for:** Families or friends wanting three double bedrooms, beach views, a balcony, garden, parking and room for two dogs in the middle of Porthleven.

**Less good for:** Six guests wanting more than one bathroom, EV drivers, or anyone needing step-free access.
