Studio with garden, Trewidland

Trewidland is near Liskeard, and this single-storey studio sits there with an enclosed garden that looks over a valley. Everything is in one open-plan room: a kitchen, a dining area, a sitting area and a king-size Murphy bed that folds down for the night, so there is no separate bedroom.

The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, kettle, toaster and coffee maker. There is a TV, a music player and WiFi, plus electric central heating. The shower room has a walk-in shower, basin and WC. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent.

Outside, the enclosed garden has a patio with furniture. Off-road parking is for one car. The nearest shop is 3.6 miles away and the pub 4.1 miles, so both need a drive. Looe, Lostwithiel, Golitha Falls and the Eden Project are all within easy reach of the studio.

This is an adults-only retreat, with no children or infants, and no pets or smoking. It suits a couple who want a self-contained studio with a garden; it is less good for anyone who wants a bedroom separate from the living space, since the bed folds down in the main room.
