The Bullshed

The Bullshed is a 1-bedroom cottage on the Trewinnard Manor estate near Marazion, sleeping 2 with 1 bathroom. It is single storey, with a few steps leading up from the open-plan living room to the kitchen. The cottage sits around a courtyard with five other cottages. Location is tagged as Marazion but the postal address is St Erth - the estate sits between the two settlements.

Inside, the cottage has an open fire, wi-fi, parking, dishwasher, and washing machine. The facilities also include a games room. Outside there is no private garden, only a shared lawned area that adjoins the estate swimming pool. The pool is open weekdays between June and September, so check your dates if swimming matters. A shop and pub are 1.5 miles away.

Marazion is about 3 miles away. Marazion Beach is a half-mile run of golden sand with St Michael's Mount directly offshore, connected to the mainland by a granite causeway at low tide. The Mount is a National Trust island with a medieval castle. Penzance is a short drive west. St Ives - around 8 miles north - offers galleries, coast path access, and several beaches including Porthminster and Carbis Bay.

**Best for:** A couple wanting a quiet rural base with pool access and easy reach of Marazion and Penzance.

**Less good for:** Dog owners, or families needing more than 2 beds.
